Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about LexOpti and AML compliance.

Continuous vigilance is the automatic re-verification of your entities to detect any status changes: new sanctions, asset freezes, PEP status, insolvency proceedings, etc. In accordance with Article L.561-6 of the French Monetary and Financial Code, regulated professionals must exercise constant vigilance throughout the business relationship. LexOpti automates checks and helps you follow changes in circumstances.

One credit is the analysis of one entity (individual or company), which places it under continuous vigilance for the whole duration of the file. Your plan gives you credits for the year; if you need a little more, a top-up adds to it and its credits never expire. An entity already under vigilance costs nothing when added to another file; re-running its analysis uses 1 credit and its vigilance simply continues.

Yes, every person linked to a client (beneficial owner, legal representative) is a separate entity and uses one credit when analysed. For example, a company with 3 beneficial owners uses 4 credits (the company + 3 BOs).

Estimate how many entities you will analyse over the year: your new clients and their linked persons (BOs, legal representatives). The vigilance of entities you already follow costs nothing more. For example, 60 client companies with 2 BOs each on average amount to 180 credits: the Essentiel plan (300 credits a year) is enough. The "Find my plan" estimator does the maths for you. Above 1,000 credits a year, contact us for a custom plan.

Every plan is billed monthly or yearly, with a 12-month commitment either way; yearly billing costs 20% less. All the credits of the year are granted at the first payment, even when billed monthly.

You can no longer launch new analyses, but your entities under vigilance stay under vigilance. To carry on right away, move to a larger plan or add a top-up to your plan, with no expiry date.

Your plan's credits are valid until the end of your subscription year. Unused credits roll over to the next year when you renew, up to one yearly pack. A top-up's never expire: without a running plan they are set aside and usable again as soon as your plan resumes. Vigilance itself does not expire: it lasts as long as the file is followed and your plan is running, with no renewal and no extra credit.

Vigilance stops right away: you get no more alerts about this entity. The credit used is not refunded, but you can switch vigilance back on free of charge at any time.

Yes, to a larger plan, at any time: your year restarts on the day of the change, the unused time of the former plan is deducted and all the credits of the new one arrive at once. A plan billed monthly can move to yearly billing the same way. For a few more credits, add a top-up; for a custom need, contact us.

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with 10 credits to analyse your first clients. When the trial ends, choose a plan to carry on: the vigilance of the entities analysed during the trial then continues, otherwise it ends with the trial. Your data stays available.

Your subscription commits you for 12 months, monthly or yearly. To cancel it, contact us at any time, or use your organization's billing settings: it stops at the end of the current subscription year (billed monthly, the payments carry on until then), and your credits stay usable until then. After that, your workspace becomes read-only and your entities' vigilance is paused; your top-up credits are kept. Everything resumes free of charge when you take a plan again.
